Enhanced Stability & Fixation

The Ascension® T I T A N™ system provides a stable, bone
conserving option for humeral head arthroplasty. The
TITAN's™ unique four-fin, fluted stem design allows for
increased stability and excellent initial fixation through a
press-fit. This eliminates the need for cement, minimizes
toggle and provides rotational
and axial stability.
The TITAN™ is a monobody
d e v i c e made of cobalt
chrome with a highly
polished articulating surface
and a grit blasted stem.
The under-surface of the
dome is coated with
titanium plasma spray to
enhance secondary fixation
and provide an optimal
e n v i r o n m e n t for osseointegration.

Precise Instrumentation
A two-tiered tray contains precise instrumentation for a
reproducible surgical technique that reduces surgery time
and facilitates a simple procedure.

Anatomic Size Options
Scientific studies were analyzed to determine the most
anatomic design possible1'2'3'4. With eight optimized sizing
options, the TITAN™provides the best fit intraoperatively
to address varying patient anatomy. The anatomic sizes of
the T I T A N™ minimize bone removal and restore the
native biomechanics of the joint.

Minimal Bone Resection
Resurfacing allows for a minimally invasive surgery that
provides for an open revision path. Removing only the
articulating surface of the humeral head facilitates the
recreation of the natural range of motion. With anatomic
sizes that precisely fit the humeral head, the Ascension®
TITAN™ minimizes bone resection.
